Kojo Baffour

Founder

“I have over ten years experience as a robotics Head Coach and Science Teacher at a leading International school in London. During this time, I’ve lead the design and implementation of various STEAM programmes.

My experience has taught me that many children do not have adequate learning opportunities in this area for youngsters. For this reason, I've made it my life’s mission to bring quality programmes to children in London and beyond to fast-track them along their paths to become future leaders.”

About Us

As innovations in the technology space seem to be growing faster than ever - and with the breakthroughs and developments of Artificial Intelligence tools - the importance of providing our children with technology learning opportunities cannot be overstated. These technologies will continue to move forward quickly as industries become more autonomous; with the link between AI and machinery being robotics.

Emerging Young Engineers Ltd. is a young company that successfully launched in 2023, and we're working tirelessly to bring our activities to new schools and participants. Our main goal is to bring premium developmental engineering experiences to children in order to prepare them for a world full of technology and artificial intelligence. We currently operate in London with offerings of weekend programmes, after school clubs, private tuition and birthday parties. We are proud to share that all participants have reported high levels of satisfaction and that they would recommend our programmes to others.

At EYE, we guarantee quality learning experiences in STEAM: specifically, in coding and engineering. We have an expanding team of instructors who have a deep knowledge of coding educational technologies and who have experience in teaching. Our instructors are safeguarding and first aid trained and are Enhanced DBS checked. We take a personalised academic approach to meet students where they’re at and build their skills up from there. We have KS2, KS3, and American System NGSS aligned curricula for activities in various experience levels for ages 6-14 of Lego Robotics, AI Game Development, Scratch Coding.

Students across our programmes follow the engineering design process to ideate, prototype, implement, and revise their creations and code. We focus on computational thinking and technical literacy and developing life skills to promote collaborative development. Our programmes bring parents along the journey by sharing curricular information as well as media taken throughout; including action-shots of students and pictures of finished projects, and video reports of students explaining their design processes and code.
